What you'll do

You will have the opportunity to travel the Rio La Plata (second longest river in Puerto Rico) on board of a kayak or a paddle board. In a completely private adventure, you will be immersed in a pure and clean environment in the best hidden gem in Puerto Rico. Perfect for meditations and bird sighting, Comerio is a great place to recharge and get a bowl of fresh air. After a great time at the river we move to a local farm to enjoy some natural juices, snacks, play with the animals and enjoy the surroundings.
Other things to note
Don't need to have previous kayaking experience. Is a very calm water and the course between the mountains give us a good fresh air.

Im been working with a non-profit organization that created spaces and opportunities in sport, art and culture in Comerio for more than a decade. These experiences have been transformed into a mission of growth in sustainable agriculture and a better quality of life for all communities. A town that always makes visitors feel like family. As a traveler I like the tourism of experiences, meet the locals, eat their typical dishes, know their hidden landscapes, under that idea this adventure was born in Comerio. I am from Comerio, born and raised among these beautiful mountains.

Not worthwhile, a muddy river and sadly neglected 'farm' animals! Kayaking in a deserted muddy river with no interesting animals or scenery and minimal interaction by the host was the 1st activity. Then the "farm" was someone's home with a few plants and even more sad: neglected animals . A Cow tied in the woods on without water or shelter. Goats you can't even get close to or take pics with or pet, and the Male goat is left tied up in the sun. Alll goats had NO WATER OR FOOD in the pen. (Could have at least tied the Male goat in the shelter out of the sun/rain if he wasn't getting along with the others!) That was the whole 4 hrs-a slow kayak ride, some neglected animals and seeing beer hop plants- not an adventure, not a real farm, not right, not worth it

This was the perfect way to spend our last day in PR. Juan genuinely cares for his community and it shows, seeing a new place through a lense like that is inexplicable so just do yourself a favor and join him on this, you won’t regret it!

This experience with Juan was great! He knows so much about the history, culture, and people of Puerto Rico so he was able to talk about whatever we were curious about. The river where we kayaked was beautiful and his friend’s farm was wonderful. I definitely recommend this experience for anyone, especially if you are looking to get away from the tourist spots!

You truly get to experience a part of Puerto Rico that most tourists don’t get to see. It’s a great experience, very relaxed and beautiful even in cloudy or rainy weather. Absolutely would recommend!

This was absolutely amazing. If you are even considering it--DO IT! Even though the day was somewhat rainy, it was an absolute blast.
