What you'll do
Join me, a professional Chef and Sommelier for a vegan cooking class! Being also Sommelier, I’ll match your dishes with the best wine. I’ll put at your disposal my home a few steps from St. Peter's and Vatican, sharing my passion for good food and good wine. I'll host in my well-tended garden with barbecue, from which you can admire the sky of Rome. If the weather is inclement, we'll be inside in the dining room! I’ll show you how to prepare 2 of the most important types of homemade pasta and 2 vegan sauces typical of Roman and Italian cuisine that will season your pasta. You won’t use modern pasta making machines! In fact I’ll show you the most ancient way of making homemade pasta, as my grandmother taught me, using the classic wooden pastry and the classic wooden rolling pin. You’ll have to use just your hands to create these delicacies and I’ll be in front of you for helping you. In the end we will eat your creations together! Besides, I'll give you a lot of tips about roman restaurants and how to avoid the tourists traps. This experience is adaptable even for non-vegans.

My name is Alessandro but all my friends call me Tony! Cookery has always been my passion. I learned to prepare homemade pasta and the typical roman dishes with my grandmother and my mother. I graduated from law school, I worked like lawyer, but cousine continued to be a part of me and infact I decide to change completely my life: I graduated Chef and I worked at Marriott Hotel and I took the diploma of Sommelier at Hilton Hotel. Now I have my own business of Personal and Private Chef. In addition, I have been organizing culinary experiences for tourists (dinners and classes) for 5 years.
We’ll prepare the 2 most important kinds of homemade pasta (Fettuccine and Ravioli) and 2 different sauces. Wine is included…
