What you'll do

(4 person booking minimum) You get the best of both on this Waterfalls and Breweries Tour with a designated driver. This 9 hour tour visits 4 great Western Carolina waterfalls and 5 breweries. The craft brewery tour will give you the best of the Western North Carolina area with a designated driver. Tour starts at 8:00 A.M. in Bryson City and ultimately returns there as well. Tour is approximately 9 hours. Food trucks available at several breweries along the way. Tour includes a pint of beer at each brewery and transportation.

Hi, my name is Mark, and I have been exploring the outdoors of Western North Carolina for over 16 years hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking and rafting. I am a 3 time Ironman Triathlon finisher and hold certifications in CPR/AED, Wilderness First Aid, Whitewater Raft Guiding, Swiftwater Rescue, am a volunteer search and rescue technician (SRT4) for the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and hold a United States Coast Guard Captain's license for boating adventures.

I am also the owner of Carolina Bound Adventures, and along with KK, Angie and Karen we show people the amazing beauty of this region.

Where you'll be

We will spend the first part of our experience exploring four beautiful, Western North Carolina waterfalls. Then we will make our way to five local craft breweries where you will enjoy a refreshing pint at each location. Lunch will be available at a unique food truck parked at each of the breweries!

Mark was awesome! He was so nice; he customized to our hike pace and gave options for our last brew stop to make sure we hit the place we wanted. He also helped us find a local driver for another occasion since this area doesn’t have Uber/Lyft service.
