Great tour with fantastic food and insights. Don't eat lunch or even brunch on the day of the tour because you'll be eating so much! Rene provided full meals of multiple dishes in two different hawker centers and all tasted fantastic. He is also full of interesting information on Singapore's set up, society etc. In addition to Chinatown, we also went to the URA building with a huge model of the city and another of the whole country. That was so interesting that I will probably go back tomorrow to explore the other exhibits about Singapore tomorrow.

Rene is a fantastic tour guide, and we really enjoyed our day with him in Singapore. One note about this tour is that it's half focused on food, half on Singapore city planning. We are major foodies and were a bit disappointed by the structure of the tour, wishing it had been more focused on food. However, we still enjoyed the tour and learned a ton!

Rene’s tour company is wonderful and took me to places that I wouldn’t have thought to go on my own. And as far as food tours go, this one provides a lot to eat so 100% come hungry. Would highly recommend, and I’d love to take some of the other tours someday as well. (Intrepid Urban Adventures is the name of the tour company).

If you are here primary for someone to help you wade through the seemingly endless offerings at the hawker centers—this is your tour. The food was plentiful and excellent. Not much time is spent walking around Chinatown and learning the history. You pretty much try a bunch of stuff at one hawker center....spend time at the City Planning Center....and then try a bunch of stuff at a second hawker center. Little exploring the area, the culture, the history, etc.
