What you'll do

This is our solution to explore the city of Havana while avoiding the tropical heat. Around the time people stop working and start chilling, we'll lead you through the buzzing streets of the iconic neighbourhoods of Havana Centre as it comes to life for the evening and pass by unique spots in downtown Havana. First of all, we will head up to one of the city’s hip rooftop to enjoy an exceptional view of Havana Centre, while we sip a fabulous mocktail. Enjoy the fresh sea breeze and learn of the city while taking in the breath-taking views of Havana’s iconic buildings. This is just the first experience that awaits you when you spend an evening in Havana. Then, we will return to our bikes to see one of the areas that still reminds us of Havana’s centre of the commerce in its moment of splendour. When the streets begin to narrow, and we hit some Havana’s oldest squares and sights, you will realize that we reached the historic city centre. Continuing the ride, we’ll get off the beaten path and go to see a lot of street art in the emerging Art District of San Isidro. Time to make some nice shots! At this point we may be hungry and thirsty. An opening to the private sector in recent years has led to a wide variety of Cuban food and cocktail bars. Let’s go to one of our favourites. The way back will take us on a ride over the Malecon, the iconic sea wall along the ocean.

Your hosts

We are group of friends whom, driven by our love for cycling and desire to always have fun in Havana, are eager to share with others a more genuine take of Havana through exciting cycling experiences. Our experience date back to 2013 when Yasser gave his first bike tour. After working as a software developer, he decided to follow his heart, betting on the bicycle as an alternative lifestyle and to earn one's living. Hi founded first Havana’s bike-shop and the Havana Critical Mass to encourage local people to use the bike. When Yass began Citykleta, Emy joined the project. She used to work as an accountant. Later Bryan, a philosophy student joined them. Finally, Lisi and Chábeli, two enthusiastic translators, joined. Creativity, authenticity, empathy and knowledge are our keys to providing you with a fun and unforgettable time in Cuba.
