You will experience the manners of Samurai.
In Samurai era, there are many manners of entering the house, walking in the corridor, sitting on the floor cushions, etc., and you will experience them.

We practice the sword.
In the Samurai period, there were various weapons, but Samurai thought that the Japanese sword had a soul, and was particularly important.
Please feel the soul of Samurai.

5, 【Cut!】Exhilaratingly!
We actually cut tatami with a Japanese sword.
After lectures on how to cut several times, we actually cut it.
Please feel the pleasure when you cut things.

6, 【Photography】Free photo
Take a photo freely when you are cutting!
There is also time to take pictures freely.

Please enjoy the special experience of samurai that can only be done in Japan!

We are a professional team that teaches Japanese people how to use samurai swords and manners.

Martial arts Academy

Until now, we have been teaching Japanese culture to the Japanese people, but now we would like to share the Japanese culture with many people who are interested in Japan.

Samurai not only fought with swords, but also learned various courtesy practices and had to always be strong and beautiful.

Please experience the samurai sword and courtesy.

Please experience the movement of genuine Samurai that is different from TV and comics!

This was a great opportunity to not only learn how to slice a tatami and some other skills with the katana, but also to actually understand the culture and dedication of being a samurai. It was a lot of fun, and you realize how much being a samurai truly was a life commitment.

Ooshiro was a very welcoming host and made the experience very comfortable, personal, and wholesome. Very knowledgeable in the arts considering he has 10+ years experience under his belt. I got to learn so many things I never knew about and practicing with wooden swords was very fun. Once we got to cut the tatami mats it was very exhilarating. Would definitely experience that again and with Ooshiro again.

The moment we stepped into the space, we had the privilege of experiencing some of the Samurai culture and practice. From dressing in the traditional Samurai kimona & greeting etiquette, to basic Swordsmanship & the tea ritual, it all felt authentic. The folding of the traditional garments added the finishing touches to a truly once in a lifetime experience.
