What you'll do

We will meet at Texas Rowing Center to get to know the group, gather equipment and hop on our SUPs! We will have a short warm-up on the docks of TRC and for those who are new to standup paddle boarding, we will have some time to paddle around a bit next to the dock to get a feel for it!

From there, we will paddle out onto Lady Bird Lake where we'll get a great view of the skyline and work on our balance on the boards! We have a nice little cove picked out for our yoga session where we will move through a fun and beginner-friendly yoga sequence! We can hop off the boards and cool down a bit on the hot days and experiment with fun and new yoga/SUP tricks!

After our yoga class, we can paddle around the lake, enjoy our time in the sun and head back to the docks for a soothing and refreshing cool-down flow and lovely savanna (final yoga pose/relaxation)!

Expect to have some fun and try new things in your practice!

Great experience! Only myself and my girlfriend when we went. Yoga was about 45 minutes. Meggie was the instructor that led this trip and she was great. She did a good job of slowly getting us into it. Lots of poses that keep you lower so that you don’t fall off, but we did do a sequence standing up. After yoga, she took us to a part of Barton Creek and let us swim for awhile. Also got some pictures with the skyline in the background. Didn’t rush to get us back right at the end of 2 hours, actually ended up back just a little late. Would highly recommend this experience!!

Meggie was incredible! I felt so at ease practicing yoga on the water! It’s perfect for beginners and really allows you to feel present in nature! We did a yoga flow on the boards and then paddled down the river for a photo and a quick dip! I’m planning on moving to Austin and I know I made a friend today and am so grateful! If you love to paddle board and love yoga you gotta check this out!

This experience was phenomenal! We were a bachelorette party looking for some Austin culture and recreation. We were all yoga skill levels. We all had an amazing time and got to practice yoga in a special unique way. Would highly recommend this experience!!
