Where you'll be

The town of Versailles (our home!) to meet local market vendors & taste a range of cheeses & superb wines. We will then explore the Royal Gardens & Fountains, Marie Antoinette's Hamlet, the Trianons & the King's Château, home to the most powerful family in the world for over a century!

The stunning 2,000 acres of Versailles is far larger than most expect. Save your feet, see more with ease by bike and access places the crowds do not.

This was a fantastic day. I’m a great lover of French history and Niki told me fascinating stories and was able to answer the questions that I had. The market was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I loved our picnic lunch consisting of cheese and wine, and the bike ride was wonderful.

It meant to got to see so much more and Niki was great at sharing the stories and significance of eat location. The little picnic we had was delicious! If your looking to see Versaille and are considering how to do it the best way I cannot recommend this experience enough....you will not regret it

We just returned from our trip across France and this was the most memorable tour of the whole trip. Nick&Stu are really knowledgeable and most of all down to earth and that made it even more enjoyable. And a secret tip. Go now! Covid made tours quite a pleasant experience without the hordes of tourists. And we got to experience a private tour with the hosts themselves. Oh yeah... And the bikes are legendary 😉

We had an absolutely incredible day in Versailles with Niki and Stu! They are Versailles and guide experts, making this the best tour we have ever experienced. On top of being in the beautiful setting of Versailles, they were friendly, fun, and created a seamless and unforgettable day for us. We loved it all: cycling, market, picnic lunch, and learning about Versailles. They also shared an excellent list of Paris cafe/restaurant recommendations by neighborhood, which was really helpful. We cannot recommend this tour enough!!

This experience was great and reached beyond expectations. It was raining the day we went but they altered the schedule so we could stay out of the rain and stay warm until the storm passed. They communicated every change and gave us options. We had an amazing time!

We had an amazing day, which surprised us because the forecast for the day was cold and wet and we were a bit anxious about how it would go. But they made some adjustments to the schedule and we had a wonderful time exploring Versailles, inside and out. Our guide Nico was not only extremely knowledgeable but also personable, friendly and entertaining. Well worth the cost. And for anyone concerned about the level of exertion required, we were the oldest in our group (mid 50s) and one of us has wonky knees but we were easily able to keep up.
