What you'll do

We will meet at a selected beach depending on the wind. After a short safety and instruction briefing we will take paddle boards and paddle with many turtles in blue calm water. After we will go to a pristine reef or mangrove estuary depending on the win. We will sorkel for 20- 30 minutes. On the way back we will go back and paddle again with the turtles. Typically seen on this tour are reefs filled with stag and brain coral, fans, tropical fish, turtles, rays, and so much more. If we go to the mangroves we see coral, tropical fish, sea cucumbers, turtles, rays, and more! The tour lasts from 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Eleuthera has amazing beaches, reefs, estuaries, and mangroves filled with abundant sealife and this tour will show it to you!

I have been coming to Eleuthera for over 25 years. During that time I have been diving, fishing, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and spearfishing with the local fisherman here. I moved some years back and have been living here full time. I train local guides to give back that which was so freely given to me. We also use local guides that have been trained rigorously.
I am a free dive, snorkeling, paddle board, and kayak instructor and am life guard, first aid, and CPR certified. I practice yoga and I love Eleuthera! I really enjoy showing guests the amazing nature that is so abundant here. We will explore bays, estuaries, reefs, and coastal habitat. I can also show you where caves, blue holes, fishing, and other local spots to check out!

A must do if staying anywhere on Eleuthera. Sharon and Lewis were fantastic guides! Both are very knowledgeable about the island and its’ ecosystem. My 12 year old son and I felt very safe throughout the adventures. Sharon made sure we saw the best coral reef! Must do no matter where you are staying in the island. We made the journey down from Gregory Town. This is one for the books for sure! Sharon also guided us to amazing wrap place for lunch and 2 pretty cool spots: the Cathedral Cave and The Ocean Hole. Thanks again!

Sharon and Louis were amazing guides! They were so knowledgable and personable. They went the extra mile of transporting us to the beach location because our car was not sufficient to make the trip. It was fun to see the speedy turtles and to snorkel with some fish in the clear blue waters.

In one word, Wow! The description on the AirBnB website only does partial justice to the experience my wife and I had. The Bay landscape was gorgeous and the water had great visibility. Being there is hard to describe in words. To me, it's just something you have to experience in person to truly appreciate. Thanks to Sharon's tour, we had that opportunity. Lewis was our personal guide and we couldn't have asked for a better one. He shared a lot of local knowledge and history of the area, was very professional and we felt very safe with him in the lead of our excursion. Sea turtles galore, coral reef and fish, and we even saw a barracuda. Lucky us!

Sharon and Lewis were incredible hosts for this Airbnb experience! Everything was seamless, easy, relaxing, and beautiful. Both of them provided such excellent information on the islands of the Bahamas. We loved paddle boarding, snorkeling, and chatting with Sharon and Lewis. I would highly recommend this experience if you are on Eleuthera - it is a great way to see the gorgeous waters in a non touristy way.
