About your host

I founded Exploring Scotland after traveling around Scotland for a summer finding that this is something I want to share with others. I use my local knowledge gained from years of investigating weird and wonderful places in Scotland. I love to show the best of Scotland and involve aspects that are often overlooked like food and nightlife.

Where you'll be

Auchentoshan distillery is lesser known but will become infamous to those who taste it. Glengoyne is the better-known distillery on the tour and their whisky lives up to expectations. The Old Mill in Killearn is a small community run restaurant with fantastic, locally sourced food. Clydeside distillery is the newest distillery on our tour but the owners and the building provide the history. Pot Still has enough whisky for a lifetime.
