I would do the tour for the community spirit and love & respect for nature that the project conveys. Do not expect a mini biology course about plant-life but rather a very practical guide to what and how to eat directly from the garden :)

The session was designed to encourage participants to engage their senses and draw on their innate wisdom in order to explore the relationship between plants, the body and wellness. First, Jasmin conducted a 10 min grounding exercise. We were then asked to explore the garden and choose plants that we instinctively felt drawn to. Under guidance, Jasmin asked us to observe, smell, touch and taste (where appropriate) the plants to try to intuit how they might benefit the body, and then we had a brief discussion about each plant in context - cultivation, effects on the body and how it is prepared for practical use. We closed with another exercise, and some of us stayed to join her and the other community residents for an organic lunch and conversation (for an additional cost). The experience is easily reachable by bus, and based in Bajamar where there are views of the Anaga mountains and natural swimming pools nearby.

Visited a potentially barren land that has been enhanced by the guests and residents, good plant and insect variety, permaculture principles implementation under way, a work in progress still, yet despite the challenging conditions, nature’s pharmacy abounds! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your food. Minimal social distancing and covid protection...

Yasmin and her husband created a very special place on a slope in Bajamar. You can feel their love for plants and deep understanding of nature and connection to it. Somehow they are able to transmit it to their visitors. The tour was very informative and rich in knowledge. We went with our children, 6 and 8 yo. Yasmin was kind enough to adjust the tour for them. We tried many plants that grow in their garden and it was great to find out about their properties and taste. If was also wonderful to see Yasmin's approach, full of respect and love. This tour is definitely something different that the smooth, paved, crowded, main -stream, aesthetics-oriented parks and attractions of Tenerife, but there is something very true, simple and deep about it. We also really recommend having the delicious, organic, vegan lunch with Yasmin and her husband after the tour.
