What you'll do

Did you know that 'Oklahoma' was the 'Hamilton' of 1943?

This unforgettable tour will take you back in time to learn the history of Broadway and its theaters. I will show you the most important sights that have shaped the history of musical theater in the past 120 years while you fall in love with the theater district, its architecture, history, and people.

We'll start at the Nederlander Theater and make our way up north to Times Square and Palace Theater where vaudeville and musicals were born in the 1900s.

Follow me on IG to see the shows I've recently seen: @BroadwayByAndres

Your questions are welcome, so please don't hesitate to ask.

Other things to note
Be ready to walk! Also come prepared with questions and an open mind. I am an open book and I want to share my passion with you.

Prior to your tour, check out my IG: @BroadwayByAndres and feel free to ask about the shows I've seen or for recommendations (when they come back!)

I love Broadway! I have seen over 300 Broadway shows in the past 13 years in all the 41 Broadway theaters and have become an expert on all things Broadway (behind the scenes and on stage). I served as an associate board member of the New York Musical Theater Festival and was a licensed NYC Tour Guide as well.

I currently work full-time in finance with the end goal of producing Broadway shows. My passion for Broadway is immense and I enjoy sharing it with others.

This tour can be tailored for complete Broadway newbies or for experts who believe they know it all!

Where you'll be

Times Square can be overwhelming, but this tour will make you fall in love with its rich history and incredible energy. We will walk along the theater district (including 42nd Street) where I will show you the theaters, what has been renovated, what has been torn down, & what is hidden behind other buildings!

GREAT TOUR! Andres provided a well thought out tour of the 40+ theaters which make up Broadway. He knew their histories and had very interesting stories which added an extra level of enjoyment. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting NYC or to any locals wishing to learn a bit more about their city.

As someone who has never been to a Broadway show, this experience was perfect. Andres is clearly an expert about the theatre world but was able to break things down for a noob like me and make me want to go to a show! The tour was a good balance of Broadway history, how it works today, and storytelling from the host’s perspective. Super high quality tour that I would recommend to friends and family!

Andres is one of the best tour guide I met. He is friendly, helpful and the tour was really great. I will meet him again if I go back at NYC. And I can tour him in the Philippines if he likes to come.
