What you'll do
This is a restaurant hopping walking tour. While indulging, I will be sharing the rich history of the tacos we are eating (5 different types), and of each place that serves them. This is a curated walking experience to taste Mexico's best tacos without leaving the safety and comfort of Polanco. Be sure to come hungry, because we will we devouring a huge sampler of tacos: from southern Cochinita Pibil, to the traditional quesadilla and the capital's favorite: Tacos de Pastor. Venues range from an actual street stall in Parque Lincoln to a fancy cantina in trendy "Polanquito" area, a traditional quesadilla joint and a modern restaurant in trendy Av. Presidente Masaryk. Water will be provided between restaurants, as well as a glass of Jamaica water at one of the restaurants.
Born a taco lover, I have been in the pursuit of the best taco since I can remember and I have come to realize that there is not one, but many AMAZING tacos that could all be considered the BEST. I have lived in Polanco for 7 years now so I will be happy to share with you the provenance of this beautiful neighbourhood and the best kept secret tacos street stall in the city. I'm a fashion stylist for a living so I have an eye for details and character in general. Alongside food, traveling is my #1 hobbie so I easily relate to what a traveler is looking for in an eating-walking experience.
