What you’ll do

As former food editors, we started Leftovers Miami because we kept getting the same question from visitors and locals alike: Where do people who write about food actually eat? Well, you're about to find out. Join us on a two-hour food crawl, where every stop is somewhere we broke a story, interviewed a chef, or argued about on deadline. Ride Miami's free automated rail as we travel to local mainstays, including a family-run chain born out of a gas station and a Michelin-recognized deli counter

About me

We're Olee and Matt, the founders of Leftovers Miami (@theleftovers.miami), and between us, we've spent over 25 years covering the Miami restaurant scene as the editors of Eater Miami and Thrillist Miami, respectively. We started Leftovers because we kept getting the same question from visitors and locals alike: Where do people who write about food actually eat? This tour is our answer. Let's dig in.
