What you'll do
This is a walking city tour of downtown Reykjavik. Start your trip with this tour and afterwards you'll feel like a local! We start at my favourite record store in town, Lucky Records. From there we make our way through the the less traveled streets of the city centre. A long the way we'll visit some of my favourite places in town to sample pastries, drinks and food! We end the tour in dead central Reykjavik, the oldest part of town at one of my favourite stores for a beer and chat. I often add more stops to the tour for food and drinks depending on season and what's happening in town to make sure you are up to date on your trip in the city. Alls this while learning about the local music and cultural scene. After the tour I send all guests an email with an overview of the places we visited on the tour with extra tips based on your interests and our discussions in tour.
I´m a professional musician and professional guide! I have lived and worked in Reykjavik for the last 12 years as musician and a DJ with my band FM Belfast and many more. When I´m not touring with my band I want to show you MY Reykjavik. Not just the city of the guide books. I will show you the city through the music and art history while trying food and drinks at some of my favourite places. I will only recommend and bring you to places that I love and go to frequently! I am also happy to customize the tour to your needs and I love giving tips on things to do in the country side as well.
