Where you'll be

Pen-y-fan has a commanding location in the centre of the National Park. It lies in-between the towns of Merthyr Tydfil and Brecon. On the way to the park you will pass many towns and villages that were shaped by the Industrial Revolution and are steeped in history. Once on the mountain the views get better and better as you get higher and higher. At the summit the true beauty of the park will be evident as you gaze for miles in every direction.

it was a great trip with Andy. In addition, it provided water and snacks. Quite like the nature views, the waterfalls are amazing.

Personable guide and local will help you see the pinnacle of Brecon Beacon. Shared stories and snacks as we climbed above the clouds.

This hike is incredible, views are out of this world! Andy is such a great guide and really went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and involved. We got warm coffee, fresh fruits and local welsh treats at the end! I really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend to anyone!

The climb to Pen-y-fan was awesome ... and so was our guide. Andrew was knowledgeable, accommodating and fun to chat with. Amazing views at the top and along the way. If you're visiting South Wales, I highly recommend this experience.
