Whichever way you journey to Glenridding you'll notice well before arrival why I live and paddle around this corner of the Lake District. The Sailing Centre's little road is right next to the bridge, opposite Sharmans shop. The first things we'll do are sort out what's needed for the trip and fit the boat to you. Doubles are used unless there are an odd number of people. This is followed by a quick brief on what to do, then it's on the water. There are miles of beautiful scenery all along Ullswater. Bays and beaches aplenty. there are certainly a few favourites of both that we'll pass but there's no set route or furthest out point. I'll show some really nice walks, camping places and picnic spots for your future travels if you decide to return to the area.
