What you'll do

Come hike Chinatown’s hills and back alleys to the oldest Taoist temple in America, an herbal pharmacy, the oldest continuously functioning civil rights organizations in the country, and the last handmade fortune cookie factory in the world! We will relive the inspiring tales of Chinese immigrants who came to America in search of opportunity and persevered through hardship and injustice to help create a better America. We will end the tour with a dim sum snack at Portsmouth Square (Chinatown's Living Room)

Lois & Eugenia

About Lois: I was born in S.F. and grew up in Chinatown on Grant Ave. I worked my entire life as a "public servant" and now I want to share my stories with you! Find out more when you walk the alleyways with me, and trace the path of landmark cases that originated right here! About Eugenia: Born and raised in S.F.’s Chinatown, I return often to conduct tours explaining the history and culture of Chinatown and the Chinese in America. I delight in Chinese cuisine and interacting with tourists and love to sharing my knowledge of the delicacies that people taste in this neighborhood.
