I began in the food and wine industry in CDMX, was very interested in mezcal so moved to Oaxaca to learn from the source. I worked in Pitiona as beverage manager and sommelier. During that time I learned about mezcal visiting many traditional destilery. I was invited to teach enology and Mexican beverages at the Institute of Gastronomy and Tourism of Mixtec. And in 2018 I joined El Búho to develop the agriculture project while organizing tastings tours, and leading sessions of acculturation.
