I'm the owner and founder of Ultimate Tours Bahamas. For about 7 years my career focus was to be a marine biology. because of that I had the opportunity to work in numerous environmental organizations as an environmental educator and as an aquarium specialist at a local resort. That experience pushed me into pursing eco- tourism as a career which I have officially been doing since 2016. I love the environment and the ocean in particular and I love introducing people to my world off the beaten path.

It was great to find a true eco-tour on the island, and Tru had a deep understanding of the marsh ecosystem. Kayaking is the perfect way to see the mangroves, fish, and birds. Tru answered all our questions, and she even stayed with us after the tour, telling stories answering questions until our taxi came to pick us up. Enjoyed talking to her about environmental issues on the island and plans for improving the National Parks so more people can enjoy them.

What a wonderful experience! True definitely knew her stuff and was able to impart all of that wisdom. She was able to identify every fish we noticed in the water and help us spot additional ones. We learned so much, not just about Bonefish but about all of the Bahamas. The water and location were beautiful too! A unique and amazing experience.

Going kayaking with Tru was great! It was super cool to learn about the trees and animals in the wetland. It was great to learn about the national parks in the nation and get insight into cultural connections to the park that locals have. Super fun! Would do again,
