What you'll do
This is a fun and informal cooking workshop, with a lunch afterwards. It will be hands-on cooking, so you'll be very busy chopping, kneading, and stirring the pots. We'll cook Provençal and Mediterranean dishes that are healthy, fresh, modern and we always use seasonal products. We'll prepare a Provençal buffet or a 3 course lunch, learn cooking techniques, and pay attention to making a beautiful presentation. Afterwards, we'll sit down for a lunch at the poolside with a pairing of local wines.
Ingredients and recipes
I've lived in many countries, but I always like to return to the South of France. I just love the sunny and mild climate, the food, the smell of garrigue—the wild hillside herbs—and the sound of the crickets. I was trained in French cuisine at Institut Paul Bocuse, and later in modern French cuisine at Alain Ducasse's training center. I like to taste and travel, and that's where I get my cooking inspiration from. My favorite cuisines are Vietnamese, modern Australian, and, of course, French and Mediterranean. You'll see these influences in the recipes we cook. Hope to see you soon.

Where you'll be
We will be at a summer kitchen, close to the pool. The summer kitchen is an open-air, breezy building with a good flow, and beautiful wide views, where it's great cooking. It's a full kitchen with all the necessary equipment, recently installed. Lunch will be served at the poolside, too. We're situated close to the town of Uzes, in the region of Gard Provençal. Note that public transport is limited, so you'll need a car to come here.
