What you'll do

This hike is wonderful on a cold day. Please know it is weather dependent. We will meet up and drive to the trail head to park. The hike down is almost three miles. Most of the hike is medium difficulty with small ups and downs with only a 1/4 mile of very steep hiking down at the end. The quarter mile is definitely difficult so don't expect an easy hike. (You will need shoes with good grip, trekking poles are a good idea too if you slip easily). Once we reach the hot springs be ready to get in your bathing suit and enjoy the naturally hot and soothing pools! They are deep enough to swim in parts and also have nice rocks to just sit on and relax. If you get too warm you can always jump in the creek that is right next to us to cool down. If you are interested you can do a little contrast bath therapy which just means hopping back and forth from the cold water to the hot. Contrast therapy is very good for your circulation, the lymph system, muscle soreness, stress, and building up your immune system! After we're done swimming we will climb the same three miles back to the cars. (6 miles total hiking). The climb is steep we will be going up about 1,300 feet. I will also take pictures using my camera if you want, candid and posed, to capture the memories of your day and send them to you after the hike. What a fun hike! It's pretty steep at times but having Echo's help and trekking poles really make the trip accessible (couldn't have done this myself). Really fun hot springs :) very unique experience!

This experience was excellent. We felt we accomplished something big since the hike is little long but worth it. Going on this journey, makes you feel you’re in another country, different cultures and weather. It was an AMAZING experience and Echo makes it the best !!!!!!

Awesome experience and hike overall! The hike is a bit difficult, but Echo was there along the way to set expectations and made sure we knew what was to come. Totally worth it in the end because the hot spring is incredible. Echo planned the day perfectly and we had enough time to enjoy all the hot spring had to offer.
