What you'll do

This hike is amazing but no fun on a hot day. I will be posting limited availability throughout the summer so you can still see this experience and you can maybe keep it in mind for later in the year. We will only be able to do this hike on the rare cooler summer days. This experience is best in fall, winter or spring.

This hike is difficult. It requires hiking boots and good stamina. Six miles and 1,300 feet elevation change. There is a hill that is almost a sandy slide that is a quarter of a mile long and it is very challenging. We will spend about two hours hiking down and another two hours hiking back up.

The hot springs are an amazing reward for the tough hike! Six different hot pools range in temperature from 75 to 115 degrees. They are located right along the creek so you can swim in the cold water too. It's a great spot for some contrast bath therapy! This is very good for stress, soreness, blood circulation, your metabolism, and your immune system! The whole area is beautiful and a perfect place to relax. We usually have time to stay and swim for two hours.

I will take pictures, candid and posed, to capture the memories of your day and send them to you after the hike. For more pictures look up my Instagram @echo_adventure_photography.

Please note, there will be nudists. -For a less crowded day pick a week day. -Best suited for ages 15 to 50

Where you'll be

The goal of the hike is to reach the Deep Creek Hot Springs where you can swim in the cool creek or just sit and relax in the naturally hot and soothing hot pools or chill on the sandy beach. You can practice contrast therapy or just enjoy this beautiful, hidden, natural attraction and let your stress fall away!

Echo was on time, kind, super spunky, well prepared and alert. Well worth the value of the price she was requesting for this experience.

We usually hike on our own, but are thankful we decided on a guided hike for this trip. Echo is great guide in the fact that she loves her job. Along the way she takes a few brief stops to talk about the flora, and some photo op stops. The hike does have some steep, challenging areas, but she is very clear about the difficulty level, and will slow down if asked. Nice, adventurous hike overall with a good amount of time to spend in each hot pool. Overall good fitness hike with combined with relaxing in hot springs.

Definitely recommend this experience for anyone wanting to add a bit of adventurer their weekend/ vacation. Echo is so sweet and this hike to the springs is just incredible. I would 100% recommend hiking boots and hiking backpack; do not try to do this hike in sneakers it’s very difficult. A full size towel is not necessary just bring what you need in the most compact way possible. Electrolyte drink was great to have along with water and snacks. Other than that I’d say the difficulty of hike is at least medium with lots of slippery steep inclines and declines. It’s a great workout not a leisurely stroll... The hot springs are incredibly beautiful, Echo knows all the great photo spots and I would do this hike again with friends. Thanks so much for bringing us along Echo!

Echo was a wonderful host, guiding our group very thoughtfully and preparing us for what to expect. It was great to get her local's perspective and awesome for her to share such a special spot with others. Prepare for a 1.5-2 hr hike to and from the hot springs, it's so worth it! The hot springs were incredible, each natural pool with a set temperature. The community there is super chill and respectful of each other and the special location. Thanks for a perfect day, Echo!
