What you'll do
This is almost a Private photo tour experience for you. An 4 hour photo walk with a local. No big groups, just you and an expert.
We start at our meeting up location with a short intake and like to give you some good tips and techniques to shoot in the streets of Amsterdam.
We then start and basically walk and explore the city by foot or take a short ride in a tram to get to our next location.
We to get off the beaten tourist path but also understand you like to see and shoot the highlights for what Amsterdam is famous around the world.
We will visit the major canals.
Photograph the 7 bridges and beautiful traders mansions on the canals.
Walk the Art street. Visit the Vondelpark. Visit the local Albert Cuyp market.
Ride the subway to Amsterdam North. See the traditional wooden cottages and rural scenes in Adam-North. We will have a break at an old coffeehouse.
Ride the ferry boat to cross the harbour. Walk around the Central station and side canals into the Jordaan (the garden) and see the wonderful Brouwersgracht. Walk the Jordaan side streets and make our way back to our meeting point to end the photo tour.
Places change all the time, we know how to adapt and find places that are actually happening for us. We try to get some amazing pictures that you like to shoot and by making a series of great pictures with you, will be your highlight of the whole experience.
Other things to note
The meetup location is at the famous landmark location in the centre of Amsterdam. Meet me In front of The American hotel & restaurant on the Leidseplein.

Michael has been a top-notch host throughout the whole workshop. He's an accomplished and highly professional photographer but also knows Amsterdam inside and out. During his workshops he shares many stories from the past and important events in the city. That makes him not only a great host but also a fantastic guide. I would not hesitate to recommend his workshops to my friends, and will absolutely contact him the next time I'm in Amsterdam.
