What you'll do
My soundbath usually begins with meditative breathing exercises, followed by a series of sensory activities that will happen while participants also experience varying levels of therapeutic sound and vibration. You will become deeply relaxed as I sing and play among a set of 15 differently sized and tuned 7-metal tibetan singing bowls. I then conclude the session with its last breathing exercise, followed by stretching. Each session usually lasts between 60 to 75 minutes.
While on a 6 month sabbatical in Asia, I studied and learned the importance of self healing. With an educational and professional background in psychology, I greatly understood the benefits of maintaining good mental health. While abroad, I trained and became certified in Reiki Level I, II, & III, and the healing art of Tibetan singing bowl therapy. These healing modalities are only an aspect of my journey into practicing holistic health and healing. The practice of sound healing is very special to me because I am also musically inclined. Many of my young adult years were spent in the performing arts. I love music and singing. Therefore it only made sense to specialize in an art that is conducive to my life story. ‘Beyond the Body’ is a fusion of vibration, sound, and voice that will inspire your body and mind for healing.

Where you'll be
We will experience deep relaxation and sound healing in my personal home. A cozy living space that has been designed and designated for your listening pleasure. My location is about 5 minutes from the perimeter, one of Atlanta’s major highways, I-285.

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
**PLEASE REMOVE SHOES UPON ENTRY***Plus! Bring a yoga mat, or something comfortable to lie on, a bottled water, and if you tend to get cold in cooler spaces wear longer sleeves or bring a light sweater. Also, please try your best to be on time, as to not disturb the relaxing environment
