What you'll do
We've experienced fires, floods and now the virus, but we're back. I follow health and safety guidelines- providing face masks, sanitiser and using social distance. I have added an extra visit to an area where the fires recently burnt much of the forest. You'll see beautiful new red and green growth on charcoal trees This is an amazing chance to see the Australian bush as it regenerates. I provide a safe experience highlighting ecological/environmental awareness. This is a small group experience of only 4 guests. We'll drive from Sydney to the Blue Mountains, and then hike a trail away from the busy tourist hub, passing waterfalls, visiting photogenic and tranquil lookouts, and taking in views from the clifftops. This is one of my favourite places to hike and it's a wilderness area that's listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll also stop by a gallery to see the work of established Blue Mts. artists, check out some unexpected street art, and visit cafes to discuss barista techniques and share Australia's love for coffee. The unique flexible itinerary is designed for a very small group of only 3-4 people and we travel by private vehicle so we can get to places others don't go, so we rarely run into other tourists. My experience is one of the safest you can choose, as I am always with you. Independent travellers love this.

I grew up in the Blue Mountains and have 33 years of experience taking school groups camping and hiking so I am very conscious of safety in the natural environment. I love creativity, coffee, and nature, and will show you the true beauty of the Blue Mountains away from the crowds. I have now completed over 450 private tours with guests from all over the world. I also love photography and can show you some fun tips along the way, particularly simple new tricks with phone cameras. My Instagram is "oneguidetours" where you'll find the latest photos of my tours and some of the secret places I go.

Where you'll be
I have ECO Pass accreditation for the Blue Mts National Park. The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains is a breath of fresh air away from the city. We'll trek parts of Jamison Valley (stunning waterfalls and exciting cliffside tracks) as well as seeking out some wonderful hidden viewpoints with no other tourists. The itinerary is flexible so if conditions change I can take you to more protected areas if needed.

This was a fun tour and truly great value! The best thing I like about Peter’s tour is the variety of the locations we went to: blue mountains, small towns in between, an awesome coffee spot and other places (I don’t want to spoil the trip).
I would not have had as much fun if I did this kind of trip by myself or with a friend because of all the hidden gems and trails Peter took us on, not to mention the cool insight :)

Peter's experience was awesome! Starting with amazing coffee, followed by a wonderful morning hike, then on to beautiful Blue Mountain vistas! We stopped in local communities, had an amazing lunch, and finally a gallery stop. It was a delightful day filled with captivating conversation. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the Blue Mountains and all the plants and animals. A wonderful way to see the park and community in a day! We loved this excursion with Peter.

Despite the bleak forecast of rain and flooding throughout the entire duration of my stay in Australia, Peter was still able to show us some amazing views and was very knowledgeable about the environment, the animals, and the locals. Great for solo travelers! Unfortunately, there were lots of blocked pathways due to the rain, the fog, landslides, flooding, etc. so I was worried we wouldn't see much, but he had several backup plans and I am looking forward to coming back to Australia hopefully soon in the future!

Echt genieten.
