What you'll do
Adventure conservation Tourism: canoe and hike
Your journey starts with a paddle across the dam. On a stable indian kayak, with a paddle in hand and a life jacket donned, an experienced paddler will guide you across the dam where you can view the reserve from a different perspective. Wildlife is often seen from this vantage point and our resident fish eagle are always seen sitting on their favourite branch. Giraffe sightings are another highlight. Disembarking from the kayak and completing a wild walk completes this experience. Being on foot and walking in the reserve is especially exciting.
The duration of the experience varies between 2 to 4 hours depending on where the wildlife is and on the level of fitness of the group.
Other things to note
During summer (Dec-Feb) is hot and humid with thunderstorms late in the afternoon. Winter months are warm and pleasant.
