My name is Lot, I am from Bruges and I studied in Ghent (a city as beautiful as Bruges). I now live in Brussels.
In 2014, I launched one of Ghent’s first craft beers called Crabbelaer, which quickly grew in popularity as a much loved brew on the Belgian beer scene.
In a traditionally male industry, I am one of the few women with deep knowledge about the amazing world of Belgian beer. I love to share my passion with the public more than just bar and restaurant businesses.
In a fun and entertaining way, there's nothing I love more than talking about the city, our culture and history of Belgian beers, so much so that it's my full-time life's work! Join me and together let's discover your favourite Belgian beer!
Come at the start of your trip and I'll share all the insider tips on what to see and do in Brussels, Bruges, Ghent and beyond.

This was a pleasant experience! We got to taste several different beers with some classical belgian treats:) The host had many great stories both from historical events and european traditions. It felt like a private tour around the city. We definitly recommend this when visiting Belgium xx

The tour gave me insight in the process of beer making that I did not have before. It was interesting to learn more behind the brewing process before we dove deeper into the specific beers of the regions and what made them unique. Tasting the beers with this background knowledge also gave more appreciation of the great variation in beers.
I recommend this tour for anyone going to Ghent and interested it its beer-culture.

This tour was really interesting. I went to four different bars, and they were fascinating, especially the third one, which was fancy. Lot taught us how to make a beer while we were drinking, and she’s an expert. she also had some chocolate for us to drink with beer to balance the taste, which I think is great, as you can try two belgian famous attractions at the same time!
