What you'll do

Always wanted to be Katniss or Robin Hood? Here’s your chance!
I start by taking the mystery out of mindfulness- it's as simple as breathing, being kind to yourself, & being in nature. I make it playful & accessible which helps guests feel relaxed, excited, & ready to learn archery.
You will get insider access with a Portland native to this stunning hidden archery range nestled in the beauty of Washington Park. I will show you a treasure that most locals don’t know about.
Next, hands-on archery instruction that will put a bow in your hands & have you shooting in minutes. No experience necessary.
Plenty of shooting taking you from beginner to novice in minutes.
You will leave with the tools to buy equipment & shoot anywhere, & make a new friend-me. Plus, fantastic photos & videos showing off your new skill.
This is once in a lifetime experience that changes you- you will feel Powerful!
Guests say it best: “I found my inner Katniss”, "Angie, will take you on a journey that empowers & inspires.", "If I ever go back to Portland, I'll do it again", & “I am Brienne of Tarth”.
If you're going to spend $ don’t you want it to be with someone who makes it Life-changing?!

I am the founder of Meditative Archery & proud to be one of the 1st Airbnb archery experiences. Certified as a soul coach & archery instructor, I've used this unique set of tools to create a one-of-a-kind experience that helps guests make powerful mind-body connections through archery.
The biggest gift I was given was my first archery lesson 10 years ago - a lifelong dream come true! I have been avidly shooting & teaching ever since.
I travel as often as I can teaching archery, meditation, and mindfulness but Portland is still my favorite.

Where you'll be

We'll meet up at Washington Park's archery range. It is surrounded by expansive well kept trails that connect to one of the biggest city parks in the USA, Forest Park. This park is one of my favorite places to hide and hike within Portland's city limits. We will do a little light hiking, mindfulness, and archery. No experience is necessary and you will be shooting in no time.

Loved this experience with Angie! She’s a beautiful soul and my friend and I are grateful that we got to try archery for the first time with her. She’s so kind and patient throughout the process, really inspiring you to take it on and try your best. The walk in the forest before the action is necessary and got us to a grounded state of mind. I would absolutely recommend.

The hike with Angie was educational and so good. So as the Archery!!! It's not just trying it out. She explained so well and made me want to continue doing the Archery. It was a very meditative and empowering experience.
