What you'll do

We will start your food journey in the Brera neighborhood, one of Milan’s hippest area. We will cross narrow and intimate streets of this hystorical and artistic area. We will have a tour of the court of Pinacoteca di Brera (fine art gallery) where I will talk you some true secrets of the place and some interesting curiosity about the lovely Braidense Library dated 1770. After this, slowly we will see some other nice old churches on the way. After this warming walk, you will be ready to sample local delicacies such as focaccia, pizza, ham and cheese with a glass of wine… and get their history as well ! And after the savoury snacks.....of course yes, a great gelato italiano - probably the best you ever had! And if you are not full, another couple of sweet treats! All this through a 3h walks where you can ask me almost any kind of Italian food information! This experience can start with a minimum of 2 persons and normally max 8 ! For more contact me please !

Hello there! I am sociable "boy" of 44 years, after years and years working in big food Companies as buyer of raw material and ingredients, now I share my knowldege with joy and my positive vibes! I love my city and its history, but I have have also travelled quite a lot but not enough, for this reason I love to talk, to cook (and eat of course!) and to drink with positive and nice people coming from everywhere in this beautiful world.

We really enjoyed the tour through Milano with Alessandro. It was a great mix of culture and food. Alessandro was a real expert on all topics, told fascinating stories, and showed us places which we could never have found on our own. All the food was delicious and of really high quality. We were especially delighted by the platter of cold cuts and the ice cream. Communication with Alessandro was really easy and we felt welcome from the start. We dearly recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in food and culture of Italy.

Alessandro führt anfangs durch das wohlhabende Viertel Brera und gibt Tipps bzgl. sämtlicher Tourifragen. Nach einem Besuch der Universität der Künste werden verschiedene Lokalitäten besucht! Tipp: keinesfalls vorher Essen!

We love this tour! It was four of us, two adults and two teenagers. Alessandro showed us some wonderful art first, which, unbelievably, held the attention of my teenagers thanks to his information and humor. Then, the eating started in earnest with delicious focaccia and then moved on to cheese and ham, gelato, cannoli, and other yummy treats. And there was some wine, too. Although we were no longer hungry, the tour ended conveniently at Eataly! Lots of funny anecdotes and by the end of the tour, we felt like Alessandro was a friend.

Great experience to explore a part of Milan with a bonafide local like Alessandro. It is a mix of a stroll in the Brera area with a visit to an art school and a church, followed by a food tour.

The art tour included a place that a regular tourist would not have ventured over which made the tour special. The experience to see Italian books back in the 17th century is precious. A fantastic food tour led by Alessandro. Expect to eat A LOT of good food in the centre of Milan - I skipped dinner after the tour and got leftover for breakfast the second day...
