Hike a forested river to the most picturesque sanctuary then taste at the most welcoming winery in Niagara.
River & Wine sounds simple but it's not. It's as complex as a cabernet - and just as intoxicating.
- Tasting fee $10 waived with purchase of a bottle
- Must be in moderate health
- Four-season experience but full refund for intolerable weather
- Sense of humor and adventure required
- Feel free to bring a bottle of wine to sip by the stream
- Larger groups inquire within

Fortunate to work In Yosemite National Park and Oregon I've guided groups to some of the most transcendent trees, peaks, rivers, hot springs and waterfalls.
On the wine side I have a strong bond with this winery which adds joy to your experience (and wine to your glass).
Eternally Canadian I’m forever on the hunt for little known nature spots and light-hearted wineries and savor deeply the respite taken from these tonics.

Ken is an awesome guy, very fun and enjoyable to hang out with. Good knowledge of local trails & amenities. If you are staying for a few days you may want to consider doing Ken's Hike & Wine experience early in your trip as he can provide you with lots of ideas for other local activities depending on what you're looking for.

Highly recommend this experience. Ken was so knowledgeable and welcoming - he really made everyone feel comfortable and like we were all friends from the beginning. Ken is passionate about what he does and it certainly shows. He took us on what felt like an "off the beaten track" hike in which we were able to explore without too many other people around. He shared some very interesting facts about the region and of course had a ton of awesome suggestions for other places to check out in the area. I would highly recommend this experience, and I'd advise you to do it at the beginning of your stay so that you can take advantage of his wealth of knowledge of the surrounding area. Thanks so much Ken!

We definitely recommend doing this activity early in your trip as Ken has a wealth of knowledge of the area including other activities to do and where to visit. He recommended restaurants, breweries, wineries, and other trails for us to visit. We had a wonderful time hiking and drinking wine with Ken and felt very comfortable throughout the whole experience.

This was a great experience and great value. A hiking trip can be easily planned on your own, but you get more than a hiking experience with Ken. He takes you to places you are unlikely to find on your own, makes you feel valued, and provides more than advertised. Ken made great suggestions for the rest of the trip in the area and that level of personalization and expertise is rare. I would go again on a trip with Ken in a heartbeat.

Me and my Fiancé had an awesome experience. At first we were reluctant about the hiking part but Ken really made us feel safe and comfortable. The whole trip was fun with interesting conversations, amazing scenic views, and amazing wine tasting experience. Got to learn a lot about wines and the history of wineries.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good hiking experience and wine tasting. Ken’s sense of humour will elevate the fun.
