Join the ultimate walking tour of historic queer Dublin hosted by activist and historian Tonie Walsh, as he trawls the socio-cultural and political life of LGBT Dublin, from St. Patrick’s proposition by a band of randy sailors in the 4th century to decriminalization of male homosexuality and the advent of marriage equality in the 20th century.

For the past 25 years GAZE has celebrated LGBT Film by providing a platform for, and presenting the work of Irish and International LGBT Film Makers to cinema goers over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Our Exciting Programme of Films and Events Engages Filmmakers and Audiences in a Vibrant Social Atmosphere

Where you'll be

Start: Oscar Wilde Statue, Merrion Square, Dublin, looping through Trinity College, then along the cobbled treets of Temple Bar and finishing at Dubhlinn Gardens in Dublin castle. There will be a toilet stop and opportunity for refreshments at the Irish Film Institute, the original home of GAZE film festival. Duration: 2.5 hrs approx.
