What you'll do
We will start this experience with a short presentation on safe doggie handling. This way you will be a confident leader for your canine partner. Then we'll hand over the leash and you'll get to see the dog have a blast on the hiking trail. I will guide the hike so that I can make sure you and the dogs are all doing okay. We will stop to take photos and cuddle with the dogs too.

Where you'll be
We will hike up McKelligon Canyon Road, which is a paved road that goes up into the Franklin Mountains—an iconic backdrop to El Paso. This trek up the mountain offers some pretty views of El Paso down below and gorgeous desert scenes. The hike is just short of five miles roundtrip and we will stop for photo opportunities and water breaks. On our way, we will see the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater, home to the Viva! El Paso musical festival.
