What you'll do

With the Zoom app and high quality camera phones and mics, you can join us from comforts of your home as we, your guides, trek deep in the BC forest for you showcasing the best of nature, our pristine west coast forests, our trees, and medicinal plants, the birds and animals. We are members of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Shíshálh peoples whose people and ancestors have lived sustainably in harmony with the land for millennia. On this tour, we proudly share and highlight our Indigenous stories and harvest practices. Did you know?, our people used 133 plant species for food, medicine, technology. Wild blackberry, huckleberry, wild rose hips and flower, wild crab apple, the liquorice fern root, devils club, and frog leaf to name a few. On your zoom tour, you will hear the rich stories, and cultural protocols of the sacred red cedar tree, our tree of life. We believe, "we are the land and the land is us".

It is a choc block full hour and the last 15-10 minutes will be for our guests to ask questions and discuss your interests. Advance questions are great too.

You will complete this tour seeing our west coast forests of British Columbia up and close & you will leave with a deeper appreciation for nature through the the lens of Indigenous eyes. Indigenous Talking Trees.
