I have always been fascinated by nature and being outdoors. This passion has taken me to explore most of Monterrey's natural surroundings, including its impressive mountains, caves and canyons.
My love for the outdoors led me to graduate from the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) at the Rocky Mountains (United States), specializing in winter backcountry skills. Also, I am a certified trekking guide by Mexico's Tourism Board (SECTUR).
Now that you are visiting La Sultana del Norte, let me share with you the wonders of the backdoor of our city: the great mountains of the Mexican Northeast.

Beautiful hike and completely worth the challenge for the views at the end. If you love heavily wooded hikes with levels of difficulty ranging from easy to medium/hard this will be perfect for you. Pick up and drop off by Polo was a breeze. He is a great host and takes great pride in what he does.
