What you'll do

Mornings at the farm are my favorite time. All of the animals in the barnyard are just waking up and you can feel the peace in the air. The horses are always happy to see me and I like to believe that they know it's not just because I'm getting ready to feed them. Guests will get a chance to accompany me and see this first hand as we get the day started at the farm. We will start out by meeting each animal up close and personal and learning each of their stories. From there you will get to feed the animals and learn about everyone's different feeding plans. We will gather eggs from the chickens and and then get to brush and pick out the horses hooves and learn basic groundwork skills with them. You will get lots of up close and personal time with everyone in the barnyard and learn more about them! Children are more than welcome. Riding lessons can also be offered for anyone who is interested. Gratuity is never expected, but always appreciated.

My name is Belle and I have always been a horse girl. I got my love of horses from my grandfather. When I was young we would go visit him and I would wake up every day at dawn to go feed his horses carrots and spend all day with them. I have been riding and working with horses for most of my life and am so blessed to now live on an amazing piece of property very close to Asheville with all of my equine best friends. My heart lies in rescue, and 2 of our horses came from slaughterhouses. I have 2 pleasure riding horses, one being my trail guy and one being my competition partner.
