What you'll do

We will visit our beautiful docile herd of "Gir" cows. Humped indian cows. We will spend time petting, brushing and hugging them, sometimes, napping with them. Afterwards, we will feed the cows fruits and other snacks and the humans get some too. We also share information about our project or answer questions about our herd :)
Other things to note
We will guide you to have a safe fun experience with the cows. Our cows are a special breed called "Gir", they are docile and like humans more than ANY other cow breed. Nicknamed "pasture dogs" :) :)

I am a bhakti-yogi, vegetarian, ayurvedic student and permaculture enthusiast. I graduated from FSU, I spent 8 years living/studying as a Krsna monk, and now I am married and live on a small farm in west chapel hill. Simple living, Higher thinking. We have one young son. We have great aspirations to become self sufficient on the land, growing all of our own food, more direct dependence on the earth. I am now offering bhakti-yoga retreats, ayurvedic dietary cleanses and cow therapy experiences here on our farm. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you'll consider experiencing..

If you've not spent time up close with large animals, this is a great way to start. Nam and his family were super kind and informative about their cows and their farm. We had a magical time being up close, petting and brushing the cows, and to get to cuddle with them. It was very special. We also got a chance to check out their hives and see a little bit of their farm. Thanks to our hosts for the unexpected and wonderful gifts. I would come back again to spend time here.

Bovine cuddling was basically like hanging out with a bunch of huge, friendly, lovable dogs - except the dogs were cows. 11/10 would hug again
