I am proudly born and raised in the city of Cebu, Philippines. I did not grow up being in the kitchen surrounded by family so I had to figure everything the hard way from the start. It wasn't after graduating college that I finally discovered this passion in baking. I took a leap of faith, left my home and comfort zone, and signed up for a pastry program in San Francisco. Fast forward to more than a decade later, I find myself celebrating the 10th year of my own café in my beloved city and teaching for 6 years. I am very passionate about sharing my professional and personal journey with my guests and making them confident that anyone can bake and have fun in the kitchen.

Eloise is very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the class. Got a couple of great tips. I was inspired to try the technique she showed us.

This was my first time in SF and my first time taking a cooking class (of any sort). Eloise was very friendly, professional and receptive to all of my questions- she even made great restaurant suggestions for me. The class was so fun & I can’t wait to try the recipe at home. I highly recommend this class for a date night, girls night, or just for love of food!

Perfect for any person or small group. We were a group of 2 who never baked before. Chef Eloise not only introduced us to macrons but the world of baking and made it look like a breeze. We had a great time and it felt amazing bringing home a handful of macrons which turned out to be the best we ever ate.

My husband and I went to this class for our anniversary. We hadn't done anything like this before, so it made our anniversary memorable. Because we had a full class of 8 people, we made the shells and fillings together with other participants. Soon the class felt friendly and cozy while working with everyone. The macarons tasted delicious at the end.

Good class to learn the basics of this dessert, but our group was approx 10 people and that felt like way too many people in a small kitchen with only one mixer- so if you want a more personal experience this may not be the greatest fit - but if you like a lot of people around and want to get a basic feel for the recipe then this is a enjoyable space for that . For this price point , might have wanted a smaller group , but overall fun and enjoyable.

I booked this as an anniversary surprise for my husband. It worked out perfectly as it was intimate with just one other couple. It was a great change for our date nights. Eloise was clearly experienced in making macaroons and gave us the chance to try all the steps with her. We had a great time!
