What you'll do

Come hungry and ready to experience how to make ramen noodles in the heart of the historic Mission neighborhood! During this two-hour interactive dining experience, I will show you how easy it is to make ramen noodles from scratch using my own personal recipe! Then, we'll combine this with a delicious bowl of either Tonkotsu (pork bone) or vegetarian broth that was prepped earlier in the day. This two-hour event includes the pot sticker (gyoza) appetizer, ramen and mochi as a full three-course meal.

Perfect for team building event, birthday/anniversary celebration, family gathering and couples nights out.

Other things to note:

- Be sure to follow the instructions in the welcome message that you will receive after booking if you have special dietary restrictions!

- This 2-hour experience is for making ramen noodles only. Our other 4-hour experience Make a perfect bowl of ramen with a chef teaches you how to make broth, eggs, toppings.

- Per city of San Francisco mandate, all guests must present their proof of fully vaccination status with a photo ID. Mask is required except while eating and drinking.

I'm a formally trained ramen chef at the International Ramen School in Yokohama, Japan. I took to ramen's simple ingredients and robust flavor. It's my favorite dish from all my travels and a staple of San Francisco's Japanese and Chinese communities. It's surprisingly easy to make, so I am eager to share this thousand-year-old culture with other foodies.

Really fun experience! I wasn’t sure how educational it would be for me since I make Italian pasta regularly, but the stories told and nuances in making the ramen noodles were awesome. Thank you!

This was such an awesome afternoon! The class I went to was small so we really got to chat with Jeff and learn so much about ramen and its history. The hands-on experience is fantastic and my noodles came out so delicious! Will definitely be trying at home!

It was a lot of fun, my son and I enjoyed working together, although we each had our own set of noodles. I have a pasta making attachment for our KitchenAide mixer on our wishlist!

We really enjoyed this experience and learned the dynamics of ramen making. Because of this, we now know not to boil the noodles for too long; which will make for better ramen at home. The best part was running the dough through the machine to cut the noodles!

One of the best experience my gf and I had. It was very knowledgeable, very easy to follow, great history and story telling behind it. Love the atmosphere! Definitely coming back for other class to learn more.
