What you'll do
We will sail with a monotype boat in a little known lagoon of Rio de Janeiro, the lagoon of Marapendi, located in the Municipal Natural Park of Marapendi, Barra da Tijuca. From the meeting point, we will drive to the place where the little sailboat is. Our adventure begins in the assembly of the boat, when the sailor will have the practical opportunity to know a little about the nautical culture. Before entering the water, basic safety instructions and guidelines will be passed and how to sail. During the tour, we will explore nature, enjoy the landscape and feel the forces of wind and water. The farnel, bag with provisions for the journey, is up to us! At the end of the sailing, we will dismount the boat and return to the meeting point.
I am a Designer and Master in Naval Engineering. I was a professor at UFRJ and worked at the shipyard that manufactures Dingue. I am passionate about boats and I love sailing. I want to share this wonderful feeling of sailing a small boat and being in touch with nature.
