I am a bhakti-yogi, vegetarian, ayurvedic student and permaculture enthusiast. I graduated from FSU, I spent 8 years living/studying as a Krsna monk, and now I am married and live on a small farm in west chapel hill. Simple living, Higher thinking. We have one young son. What we’ll do

9:00-9:15am - Sankalpa - We will begin with a short introduction, greeting, what we are doing, how it can be done, the purpose and set intention. 9:15-9:30am - Kirtan - we will jump into a 30 minute seated kirtan utilizing ancient mantras, traditional eastern drumming, brass cymbals. 9:30-9:45am - Japa - we will practice “Japa”, a personal form of mantra mediation performed individually, even…

We will be teaching basic Bhakti yoga sadhana, a handful of practices which, when used anytime will bring great centering and peace to your life. We will also serve an ayurvedic breakfast, kichari.

Where you'll be

You'll visit our "barn house" here on our farm, where we will hold the kirtan, meditation, discussion and take breakfast. We will optionally give a short tour of the farm and animals at the end of the experience if you wish to take part.

Guest requirements
