I was looking for a market tour and found this. I was, in fact, the first customer of the market tour. Yui is so friendly and knowledgeable about Thai cuisine, ingredients and agricultural practices. I learnt a lot of things like how to differentiate naturally ripened bananas from those chemically treated and was introduced to new food like stuffed squid 🤤, and pig’s brain, cooked wrapped in a banana leaf with herbs. After a round around the market, Yui picked up a lot of delicious things to enjoy. I really loved it and it felt like meeting a friend I knew for a long time - she even brought me snacks from home. Definitely do it. It’s different from other food experiences I’ve been part of in Chiang Mai. Yui takes you to a market that feels like the heart and soul of the city 💙❤️
