Thank you so much Jason&Sunghye 선생님 for scheduling the time slot & sharing your knowledge so, that despite my delay I could enjoy the tea experience to the fullest. Before entering this class, I knew hardly anything about the Korean tea ceremony. My desperate searching for (sugar/milk free) tea led me to this class, which has caught me by surprise not only with respect to the quality&the range of the tea served, the variety of the tea wares chosen. Next to background information embedded in its cultural history I've also learned through my first hand-on experience how to prepare and share tea in a/the Korean way. What appears to be simplistic at first glance, turns out to carry so many considerations towards the invited guests participating the ceremony. I am quite sure it was not only the temperature of the tea, which made my heart warm. What a pity, if I lived in Seoul, I would ask Sunghye 선생님 to teach me more about the Korean tea culture & to let me try to make tea towels for her:).
