What you'll do
Guests will arrive to our launch site, where all of our kayaks will be ready to go, and be given instruction on how to operate our kayaks, paddle with manatees, and the safety guidelines! Once that is complete I will get guests on the water and start our 2-2.5hr tour. We paddle to some areas where the manatees might be and also some fresh water springs! During the tour, I will inform the guests about the area and answer any questions they might have. Once we're nearing the end of the tour, I will give them instruction on how to exit the water. Once everyone is off the water, I thank them and send them on their way! If you're not paddling with myself, you'll be guided by Quentin, Tyler or Benn, all well-traveled local Florida lovers with backgrounds in adventuring and hosting!
Hi there, I’m Austin! I am the proud owner of Get Up and Go Kayaking - West Florida! After receiving my Bachelors Degree in Business, I went straight into the corporate world and quickly found out that it wasn’t for me. I resigned from the corporate life to become a full-time kayak guide and after a lot of thought, I made the decision to put my passion, knowledge, and experience to better use and started this amazing business in Crystal River!
I will provide paddles, lifejackets, and whistles - Everything needed to kayak in Crystal River!

Where you'll be
People who are not a part of our tour can visit the places we go on our tours, but can't in a CLEAR kayak without us! We are the only company that is doing tours in the area every day of the week! During manatee season (November 15th - March 31st) we go to Magnolia Spring and the entrance to 3 Sisters Springs - both of which are manatee sanctuaries during that time. We then go to Hunter Spring and Jurassic Spring to conclude!
