What you'll do
I would like to take you for beautiful hike around famous Glendalough area where you can see the beauty of Irish landscape shaped by glaciers in the past. We will meet in front of Glendalough Visitor Centre near Lower Lake Car Park. We will hike to the wilder part of Glendalough area away from regular touristic routes. It lasts between 4-6 hours depending on weather conditions , client's needs and abilities. After meeting at the Lower Car Park we head up onto Derrybawn Mountain. From here we continue following the broad ridge on a rough mountain path, enjoying some magnificent views of Lugnaquilla and the Glendalough and Glenmalure valleys - following the broad southern skyline over Mullacor and Lugduff hills .From Lugduff we start descending to the bottom of the valley and through the old lead miners village , we will return via the ancient monastic settlement of Glendalough to the Lower Lake car park.
