We start our tour in the heart of the city, at the crossroads of Montreal downtown, Griffintown and Old Montreal. We visit area of the Canal Lachine, McGill street, Old Port and waterfront, then move toward the Old city. We see the original Ville-Marie foundation site at Pointe-à-Callière, we see the Old Custom house on Place Royale and the archeological museum. We then move on to explore the art galleries on St-Paul, then walk toward Place Jacques-Cartier, famous place for street entertainment in the summer. We see the eastern part of Old Montreal with Marché Bonsecours and Chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Bonsecours built in 1655. We come back toward Place d'Armes to see Notre-Dame Basilica and we finally enjoy the 19th century Wall Street of Canada; rue St-Jacques with the different banks head office from the time of the Golden Age of Railroads Barons in the 19th century. The tour ends at Square Victoria metro station.
