What you'll do
Experience a Cambodian morning packed with authentic Khmer food, cultural insights, and delicious snacks. We'll visit a local market where you'll meet the food vendors who have been hawking their trade for years. Then, we'll explore some street food stands where you'll sit down with locals and taste Cambodia’s most popular breakfast dishes including slippery fresh rice noodles with curry, and and sweet steamed coconut rice cakes. Next we'll hop in a tuk tuk and head to a very different neighborhood, where we'll explore back alleys packed with local food vendors and get to sample a few more dishes. We'll head to a large wet market and learn about local produce and vegetables, snacking the whole way. By the time you're done, I promise you'll be full! Vegetarians, vegans, and pescatarians are fine, just please let me know in advance.

Where you'll be
We will meet on the steps in front of the Phnom Penh Post Office near the riverside, and start in that area and then travel by tuk tuk to work our way south to several markets and food vendors around Phnom Penh, based on your own dietary preferences. We'll try to visit places that would be hard to find or difficult to access for visitors who don't speak Khmer--in other words, a very local experience!
