What you'll do
We will start the session by telling you first about the history of coffee development in general, followed by how coffee industry and culture became popular in Indonesia. Basic knowledge of coffee and techniques of brewing Indonesian coffee will be discussed afterwards. Our whole session will last in about two hours, but don't worry, the time allocation can be very flexible. At the end of the session, you can bring home 100gram of any of your favorite coffee.
Born and grew up in West Java, Riesky has long known and enjoyed coffee with Java traditional styles introduced to him since childhood. In 2015 he decided to learn more about coffee and became the barista in Kopi Kultur. In addition to brewing coffee, he began to study the art of coffee roasting since 2017, and has been continuously privileged to visit several farmer groups in various regions of Indonesia. In this session, we will learn and share stories about coffee, and how the coffee culture in Indonesia are develops.

Where you'll be
Our session will be at Kedai Kopi Kultur, a local coffee shop located in Sanur area, Bali. Other than learning about coffee and its story, we will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of a coffee shop where people come, enjoy the coffee, and interact with each other.
