What you'll do
The day begins in the morning with fresh coffee, or chai, or tea! We shall meet at my home in Elsternwick at 10am where I have everything set up for all your art needs. The morning shall commence with an eclectic playlist of classical, electronic, jazz, blues and folk music to get the creative energy flowing. Paints, canvas, paper, pencils, pastels (oil and chalk), charcoal, easels and drawing boards will be provided. I can show you how to gesso paper and prepare paper for using as a canvas, this is an effective method for painters on a budget! We will converse, create and enjoy the creative process. Topics will be provided to you for ideas if needed. Discussions around your artwork will happen during and after the process. Guidance and advice on techniques are available if desired. We shall break for lunch at 12pm, which will be a mixture of pasta dishes, salads, fresh crusty bread and delicatessens (vegetarian and vegan options available upon request). Afternoon tea is at 2:30pm and is pastries and fruit. Water, coffee and tea are available anytime. The day will end at 4:30pm where you will receive pictures of you and your artwork, and a folder containing your work.
I am an all round art enthusiast and creative fiend! I have grown up around art and music and have always found myself thriving in the company of creativity, and when shared with others the whole process becomes even more fun and fulfilling! I grew up in an area of Victoria rich in creative personalities. In my family I have watched my loved ones follow their own expression of life through music, painting, drawing and text. I have studied visual arts, and spent many years working in a popular gallery in our Fitzroy! As well as following my own practice in drawing, painting and text.

Where you'll be
My home is small, quaint, but appropriate for the experience. I am a welcoming friendly person with a warm and enthusiastic disposition. The process of creating art is freeing, curious in nature, explorative, open ended and there is no right or wrong way to do it. This is an invitation to meet new people, explore your own ideas and thoughts in colour, line and shade, beside others willing to do the same and enjoy some time creating together.
