About your host

An award-winning writer and the creator of the London Literary Pub Crawl, Nick has an M.A. in Creative Producing and is the host of the SpeakEasy Cabaret! You are invited to come and tell a story too, although you don't have to. Listening is fine! What we’ll do

Arrive at the historic Wheatsheaf Pub, (it's open all day - and they do food too!) get a drink and come upstairs. The SpeakEasy Cabaret is a new idea. The first half is people telling stories and the second half is an acclaimed​ spoken-word artist. Fancy telling a story yourself? Get in touch - but you don't have to! Most of the storytellers in the 1st half are current London writers. Act 2 is usually an estabished act. It's a great night out!

Where you'll be

The SpeakEasy Cabaret is upstairs in the intimate functon room of the Wheatsheaf Pub, in Fitzrovia​, W1, in the heart of Literary London. (It's the pub where poet Dylan Thomas met his wife, btw!)

Communication policy

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests ages 16 and up can attend. Some of the acts are trying out new material, so we try and ensure a positive and encouraging atmosphere. But it's good fun!

Alcohol

This experience includes alcohol. Only guests who meet the legal drinking age will be served alcoholic beverages.
